Unga Holdings Ltd is looking for a suitable candidates to fill the following positions:
Quality Controllers (2) – Eldoret & Nakuru
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager he/she will be responsible for:
Supervision of the production process and Quality Assurance Systems
Inspect and Sample incoming raw materials and Packing materials for quality checks against Company Specifications
To carry out Hygiene Inspections as per laid down cleaning schedules in order to implement GMP Implement HACCP to ensure production of Safe Feed Grading of raw materials and carrying out relevant tests on samples to determine conformity with standards prior to acceptance To achieve raw materials and finished Product traceability
Carry out in process sampling of finished products for physical quality checks
Degree in Food science and Technology or related science
Knowledge of QMS-HACCP and ISO-9001-2000
Knowledge in chemical analysis and nutritional content of various raw materials
Must have knowledge in Grain grading
Lab Analyst – Eldoret
Reporting to the Quality controller he/she will be responsible for:
Carrying out physical & chemical testing on samples of raw materials, in-process and finished products.
Implement Quality Management Systems (ISO9001:2000 & HACCP).
Ensuring the analytical equipments are calibrated & well maintained.
Grain grading & analysis
Diploma in Food Science & Technology/Analytical /Biochemistry.
Must be Computer Literate.
Minimum of two (2) years experience in a busy analytical laboratory.
Knowledge of HACCP & Quality Management Systems.
Good communication skills.
Customer Service Executive – Nakuru
Reporting to the Commercial Director he/she will be responsible for:
Managing and servicing customers in assigned sales areas to achieve customer satisfaction, loyalty and growth in sales
Offering high level telephone support/services to all customers
Ensuring that the customer’s ordering, quality, delivery and payment requirements/expectations are met and exceeded
Tracking down and following through all customer related issues
Monitoring and reporting customer service market intelligence with a view of evaluating the company’s position in relation to competitor’s activities
Degree in Business Management or related field
2 years progressive experience in functions with customer interface
Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and follow through skills
