Wash Officer

Duties And Responsibilities
· Identify WASH gaps and develop proposals for recovery operations
· Work closely with the community members to identify training needs
· Develop training and capacity building modules in collaboration with other project staff as well as other stakeholders.
· Organize and carry out community training activities
· Prepare relevant reports as required including compilation of success stories and development of knowledge sharing information.
· Link the H1N1 components of Health and Nutrition to WASH program.
· Participate in WESCOORD meetings and other WASH related meetings.
Qualifications
· A strong Christian committed to serving the poor in full agreement with FH’s foundation and beliefs as expressed in our Vision, Mission and Values.
· Must be a holder of BSc degree in Water and Environmental Engineering, Public Health, Environmental Science or its equivalent from a reputable institution.
· A minimum of 3 years working in community based WASH program in an NGO set up.
· Practical knowledge in design of community WASH systems.
· Excellent report writing skills.
· Good computer skills with hands on experience
· Should possess a motorbike rider’s license with 3 years’ experience.
Nutrition Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

Responsibilities and tasks
· Setting up of M & E Systems in the program by aligning FHK health and nutrition program indicators and activities in line with the ministry of health DHIS as per the Government system.
· Develop M&E framework, M&E plans and Annual work plans with staff for the health and nutrition program
· Develop key reporting formats of presenting key activities and indicators from the DHIS to DNTF and other meetings for use of information for decision-making and management.
· Design the framework for the physical and process monitoring of project activities based on annual work plan.
· Guide staff on regular sharing of the outputs of M&E findings, preparation of progress reports and documentation of achievements, best practices etc.
· Organize and provide basic M&E training for project staffs
· Working with DHRIO to ensure the district data is of quality and timely entered into the DHIS
· Ensure verification and utilization of data for decision-making and management.
· Consolidate the district reports to reflect county standing.
· Spearhead project operational research, surveys and any other formative research
Qualifications and Experience (Minimum)
· A strong Christian committed to serving the poor in full agreement with FH’s foundation and beliefs as expressed in our Vision, Mission and Values.
· Degree in relevant Discipline
· Knowledge of SMART Methodology in Nutrition Survey
· Experience in M & E Design
· Experience in conducting operational research
· Good knowledge of DHIS
