Full-Time Vacancy For Sociologist In A Construction Company, Kenya
We are a fast growing construction company involved in Civil, Electrical, Water and Sanitation and Road Projects.
We wish to enhance our effectiveness in all the above areas to ensure that the company objectives are fully achieved.
We therefore seek applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following position.
Identify and build relationships with various groups/communities to work with.
Prepare and explain the importance of the project to the community to ensure its acceptance
Serve as a primary support, technical assistance and monitoring point of contact for NGM.
Maintain accurate and up to date records of project activities
Prepare reports with respect to project activities as required
Responsible for the management of all the community activities within the project
Prepare a Monitoring and Evaluation plan for all the project related activities within the community
Work with NGM Management to develop and conduct surveys and evaluations as needed
Monitor adherance to relevant project guidelines
Provide leadership for the community neighbouring our projects
Organising the community to provide avenues to express themselves and raise concerns regarding the project
Coordinate and arrange meetings between the community and NGM Project Managers
30 years of age and above
Bachelors Degree in Sociology. Diploma in Community Development or Social Work will also be considered.
At least five (5) years experience as a Social Worker
Self driven, mature, confident and of high integrity
