Full-Time Group Buying Recruits Project Manager in Nairobi
Job Description
Job Title: Project Manager
Reports to: VP E-Commerce
Subordinates: Yes
Work schedule: Full time
Work location:Nairobi
Start date: ASAP
Major Purpose
- Take responsibility on delivering on the group buying KPIs in terms of web traffic, deals sold and revenue generated
- Oversee product development and improvement of Ringier’s group buying platform
- Identify, approach and close potential partners
- Oversee creation, improvement and modification of sales and marketing material to reflect changes in business models
- Oversee recruitment training of sales and support staff
- Collaborate with the sales team to help optimize revenue: focus on sales mix, pricing, commission calculations and deal scheduling
- Collaborate with the customer service team to increase; reach and effectiveness of social media marketing, customer satisfaction rates and sales conversions
- Proof reading all deal mock ups to ensure correct pricing, creative descriptions, appropriate and attractive pictures
- Establish a baseline of data analysis and metric reporting to drive decision making across the business
- Contribute to broad strategic initiatives e.g email and online marketing monitoring and reporting competitor’s activities and numbers
- Research and identify opportunities for Ringier to further distinguish its offering
- Take over any duties assigned
Working Relationships (Internally & Externally)
- Technical department to fix bugs, implement new features and ensure smooth running of the platform
- General Manager Kenya – Coordination and collaboration in the execution of tasks critical in the delivery of the Group Buying KPIs as per budgeted figures
- VP E-Commerce for issue escalations and reporting
- Marketing team for SEO & SEM optimization
- Customer Service to ensure customer satisfaction and effective social marketing
Qualification and Experience
- B.A. or B.S.; undergraduate business program, project management experience an added advantage.
- Exceptional MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Prior experience in online sales and marketing
