Full-Time Career Opportunity For Legal Officer (Contracting) in Kenya
Our client, an ambitious and rapidly growing Group of Companies in the ICT sector in Kenya with business interests in the region, is seeking to recruit qualified and results – driven legal professionals.
One to manage regulatory, compliance and legal affairs function and the other to handle among others legal contracts and intellectual property rights issues.
Legal Officer (Contracting)
The Legal Officer will report to the Group Legal and Corporate Affairs Manager and will work closely with the Programming team to ensure proper handling of its legal work.
- Drafting, reviewing and contract management of a range of Agreements
- Title searches and trade mark registration to enable the exploitation of channel and programming properties
- Supporting deal structuring through advice, research or external consultation
- Contract administration
- Providing any ad hoc legal assistance required
- Degree in Law
- Minimum of 3 years experience in commercial transactions
- IP experience would be an added advantage
- Team player
- Interest in Telecomms and media
