The National Empowerment Network NEPHAK People living with HIV/AIDS in Kenya (NEPHAK) is a National Network that unites people living with HIV (PLHIV) and those affected by TB and AIDS through community based organizations such as posttest clubs, support groups, men’s associations, careers’ associations, women groups, youth groups and non-governmental organizations including PLHIV networks.
The vision of NEPHAK is an HIV and TB free society.
In order for NEPHAK to carry out its work and service to the community, it is undertaking supplier prequalification exercise for the selection of potential suppliers of various goods and services.
The purpose of this exercise is to promote supplier partnership and to improve on the quality of products and services whilst achieving the most competitive prices.
NEPHAK/Preq/001/2014-2016: Supply of branded office stationary (letter heads, envelopes, note pads, note books, diaries, calendars), and general stationeries (box files, photocopy papers, staplers, paper punch, staple pins, sticky pads, marker pens, flip charts, document wallets, toners)
NEPHAK/Preq/002/2014-2016: Supply, Service and maintenance of Computer Equipment, Printers, Networking and Accessories
NEPHAK/Preq/003/2014-2016: Provision of hotel and hospitality services (full board accommodation, half-board accommodation, bed breakfast, conference package, breakfast package) in all counties
NEPHAK/Preq/004/2014-2016: Provision of transport services (taxi, vans, mini buses, buses, etc) within Nairobi and between Nairobi and other towns in Kenya
NEPHAK/Preq/005/2014-2016: Supply of office consumables: milk, beverages, toiletries, detergent, mineral water
NEPHAK/Preq/006/2014-2016: Provision of Air Tickets and Airport Transfer services
NEPHAK/Preq/007/2014-2016: Provision of Motor Vehicles repairs and maintenance
NEPHAK/Preq/008/2014-2016: Design and Printing of Brochures, Magazines, Booklets, Newsletters, Letter Heads, Business Cards, Promotional material e.g. T-shirts, Bags, Fliers, Posters, banners among others
NEPHAK/Preq/009/2014-2016: Collection of sanitary collection bins and services
NEPHAK/Preq/010/2014-2016: Provision of Courier Services – Local
NEPHAK/Preq/011/2014-2016: Provision of medical Insurance services to staff and WIBA
NEPHAK/Preq/012/2014-2016: Provision of Insurance for office assets, motor vehicles, etc
Interested participants may obtain tender documents from the Reception at NEPHAK’s offices at 3rd Floor, Wood Avenue Court, Wood Avenue, Off Argwings Kodhek/Lenana Roads, Kilimani, Nairobi during office hours from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs. 2,000/= .
Payments shall be made by bankers’ cheque payable to NEPHAK or directly deposited to NEPHAK account at NIC Bank, Prestige Branch, Account No: 1000010657 and deposit slips submitted to Antony Irungu, HR&A, NEPHAK
Duly filled pre-qualification forms should be returned on or before 18th March, 2014 at 12.15 pm enclosed in a plain sealed envelope, clearly indicating the category number, and be addressed to:The Tender Committee,

Canvassing for tenders by bidders/applicants or by proxy shall lead to automatic disqualification.
Suppliers currently doing business with NEPHAK are free to re-apply for this pre-qualification.
The applicants are required to submit pre-qualification request per tender category in separate envelopes if the applicant is interested in more than one category.
Multiple applications sealed in one envelope will be disqualified from further review and consideration.
Each application envelope must be clearly marked with the tender category reference code number the supplier is applying for prequalification.
Any prequalification document received after the deadline will be disqualified.
