The institution is recruiting for the following key positions to lead in its strategic ambition:
Head, Corporate Banking – HCSS/CB 01
Reporting to the CEO, you will be expected to set up a Corporate and Institutional banking Division that will cover key business areas of Sales, Relationship management, Transaction banking and Lending.
Ideal candidate will be an experienced business leader in corporate and institutional banking with responsibility for a team of Relationship Managers and ownership of P&L and Balance sheet for corporate banking business.
Demonstrable evidence of experience and ability to develop business and establishing a working structure would be a key attribute in this role.
Head, Retail Banking – HCSS/RB 02
Reporting to the CEO, you will head the retail division and develop appropriate structure, organize the division and staff it accordingly in order to effectively drive both personal and SME banking business.
Ideal candidate will have successfully led retail banking business of a commercial bank in a competitive environment.
Must have had responsibility and ownership of business performance with a demonstrable track record of accomplishment in restructuring and improving performance of a retail bank
Chief Finance Officer – HCSS/CFO 03
Reporting to the CEO, you will be a senior head of finance with well tuned strategic thinking mindset and highly developed financial and management accounting background.
You will help steward the business through astute management of business performance, analysis and effective communication of the said performance.
Ideal candidate will be the controller of finance or CFO in a leading commercial corporate entity that is listed and preferably a financial institution.
One should hold requisite accounting qualification with well developed MIS and IT proficiency.
Head, Treasury – HCSS/TR 04
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Banking, you will be required to set up a strong treasury function with well structured dealing room within corporate banking division so as to carry FX and Money market trading and selling.
Ideal candidate will be capable of running a mid-sized Dealing room with a team in a mid-tier commercial bank. One has to be experienced in both FX and Money market segments of the business.
Credit Corporate Analyst – HCSS/CCS 05
Reporting to the Head of Credit, you will ensure effective appraisal for loan proposals for corporate clients using robust methods and that proper documentation is achieved within agreed turn around levels in credit analysis.
In addition to prompt response to customer queries, you will ensure security perfection and compliance with statutory requirements in your analysis.
Ideal candidate will be an experienced credit analyst who has consistently and effectively handled challenging corporate credit portfolios for at least 3 years at senior level.
Training and qualification in Credit analysis and management will be a distinct advantage.
Head, Product & Electronic Banking Development – HCSS/P&EB 06
Reporting to the CEO, you will perform a leadership role in spearheading product development initiatives and will be responsible and accountable for achieving the strategic product goals for the Bank’s business within Kenya.
You will identify new market opportunities through market intelligence to establish the Bank’s products’ life cycle and their competitiveness, in addition to developing new products including electronic banking and/or overhauling existing products to changing customer needs.
Ideal candidate will be an experienced developer of banking products with a track record of high performance, having been involved in developing successful products in this market. Entrepreneurial and creative thinking will be a major asset in this role.
