Accountant Job Vacancy in Makindu, Kenya
Makindu Children’s Centre, an NGO operating in Makindu District has a vacancy for the position of Accountant.
The Accountant reports to the Program Director, and as a member of the management team, he/she will be responsible for the financial administration in the Organization including;
Maintenance of books of accounts,
Ensuring an efficient and effective accounting /internal control system,
Budget management and budgetary control systems,
Reporting,
Staff supervision and general administration, and
Submission of returns to the relevant government bodies.
Requirements
- University degree in relevant field and/or minimum of CPA II, excellent Computer skills and working experience in QuickBooks is a must.
- A minimum of two years in an NGO environment and experience in management of USAID grants will be a definite advantage.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work under minimum supervision.
