The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Kenya serves vulnerable populations in the Turkana and Garissa regions as well as in Eastleigh, Nairobi.

The IRC implements programs in the areas of comprehensive primary health care, nutrition, protection, peace building, water and sanitation and hygiene (WASH), HIV/ AIDS prevention, response to gender based violence, disaster risk reduction (DRR), livelihoods and governance.

Self Help Africa is an International NGO supporting rural development projects in nine African countries in order to reduce poverty among rural communities through local demand-driven initiatives in agriculture.

Orgnizational Context

Under the overall guidance of the Programme Manager-Amkeni Wakenya, the office Assistant performs general administrative support functions, ensuring effective co-ordination, planning and monitoring of office administration, logistics, reporting and communication.

WAJIBU MS’s mission is to implement improved land management techniques that enhance ecosystems, improve food security, nutrition and incomes of rural communities across East Africa and to measure these improvements in land health.

WAJIBU is seeking to recruit an OFFICE ASSISTANT to support its Nairobi administrative team.
The OFFICE ASSISTANT will report directly to the accountant and will be responsible for the following:-
·       Accounts data entry
·       Messenger services i.e. letter delivery, statutory return delivery, visa collection etc
